A Bit About Liz

Liz earned a B.A. in Psychology from St. Joseph College in 2006 and started working at Parents’ Foundation later that same year. She came on board in the position of Residential Assistant and learned a great deal about providing care in the mental health field. As the years progressed, Liz says she was blessed with many opportunities to provide care under different positions, all of which further solidified her commitment to the residents. She believes that as a Program Director, it is fulfilling to contribute to the organization in a variety of ways and implement programs that are beneficial for both the employees and residents, and that Parents’ Foundation’s commitment ongoing program development with the aim of continuously serving the community in new ways is always exciting and rewarding.​

Liz loves being part of the planning team for resident activities, but her favorite activities are the trips out in the community. She especially enjoys trips to Edgerton Park, local beaches, and summer-time evening walks. Friday Night Socials are also a favorite of hers because they are a great way to unwind from the week.
