Living in New Haven

New Haven sits on the water just above the Long Island Sound along the Connecticut shoreline. It is a city filled with energy and hidden gems at every turn. Conveniently located near interstates 95 and 91, and with Union Station providing Amtrak service up and down the East Coast, New Haven is easily accessible from all directions. While considered a part of the New York Metropolitan area, the short 2-hour drive to Boston, MA, splits locals in their affinity for these two major cities, and their sports teams!

Parents’ Foundation is at the center of the action in New Haven. Right down the street is great shopping at Apple, J. Crew, Urban Outfitters, Lulu Lemon, and other local favorites. The city is known for pizza and top-rated restaurants, brilliant museums, theaters, and green spaces! While Yale University’s presence is found on most blocks, New Haven is also home to robust healthcare, finance, and legal communities, with the biotech industry recently joining the ranks of innovators working in the city and creating for the world.
