At Parents’ Foundation, community is at the heart of everything we do. We know that our mission would not be possible without the people who bring it to life—our dedicated staff, residents, families, and providers. Together, we continue to grow, support, and uplift one another.

This past weekend, we came together for our Second Annual Family Day BBQ—a tradition we are excited to carry forward for years to come. Each year brings new memories, and this year’s theme, “Tied Together,” celebrated the ties that connect us all. From the bright colors of tie-dye to the laughter echoing through the courtyard, the day reminded us that community is not just something we build, but something we actively nurture.

The afternoon was filled with the best parts of summer: delicious food hot off the grill, Italian ice, cotton candy, and plenty of time to sit back, relax, and enjoy each other’s company. Friends and families joined in games of giant Jenga, Connect Four, and cornhole, sparking friendly competition and joyful connection. We were also proud to unveil our new game room, packed with classics like Pac-Man, air hockey, ping pong, ski ball, and more. Thank you to our dedicated REP team for making this happen for our residents.
Events like these remind us of the
importance of slowing down and being present with one another. They give us a chance to connect beyond emails and phone calls—to meet face-to-face, laugh together, and celebrate the strength of our community.
This BBQ was more than just a fun afternoon; it was also a moment to honor the journey of our non-profit. For over 33 years, Parents’ Foundation has stayed true to our mission while continuing to grow and evolve. Celebrations like Family Day reflect both where we’ve come from and the bright future ahead.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this event a success. Thank you for being part of our Parents’ Foundation family—and for reminding us of the joy and strength found in simply being tied together.
