Recovery and Enrichment Program: Supporting Growth Through Engaging Activities

Founded in 2005 with the support of a grant, the Parents’ Foundation Recovery and Enrichment Program (REP) was created to provide residents with fun, skill-based programming tailored to support their mental health journey. As our community evolves, so does our program—continuously adapting to meet the changing interests and needs of our residents.

Our Program Specialists play a crucial role in shaping REP, thoughtfully curating activities that foster engagement and socialization. By regularly updating the program calendar based on residents' interests, they ensure a higher level of participation and meaningful connections.

Creativity and strategy guide every experience. Behind the scenes, our team integrates skill-building into every activity, making learning enjoyable and practical. Whether residents are dining out or grocery shopping, there is an intentional focus on budgeting, community safety, and other essential life skills. This approach not only enhances independence but also helps residents build confidence in real-world settings.

Program Highlights

  • Group Programs: Workshops and activities that encourage socialization and skill-building, such as art, music, and cooking classes.

  • One-on-One Engagement: Personalized support to help residents work on individual goals and overcome challenges.

  • Community Outings: Regular trips to museums, parks, or local events to encourage residents to explore and connect with their surroundings.

The Recovery and Enrichment Program is more than just activities—it is a dynamic support system that empowers residents to thrive, grow, and embrace new opportunities.
